The Radio Buzzkills are an amazingly entertaining blast of pop punk that will inspire good times, bad decisions, and furious dancing.
-Indie Shark

The Radio Buzzkills blend everything you love about Lookout-era punk rock with influences that range from Mudhoney to The Everly Brothers to The Shirelles; The Radio Buzzkills represent not a retread of the much missed Teen Idols, but an evolution of the female/male fronted pop punk genre.

The Radio Buzzkills play the kind of pop punk you know and love with a sound that blends the best elements of the Ramones and Screeching Weasel, with bassist Jen's backing vocals lending an all important sound that's influenced by the much missed Teen Idols...only harder.

Over the past four years, they've shared stages with Dan Vapid & The Cheats, The Prozacs, The Mr.T Experience, Squirtgun, The Queers, and many more.

Formed in 2016 by frontman Zac Buzzkill, a DIY EP release 'The Quick and The Cheap' was well received by the punk underground. The 'Can't Be Killed' EP followed at the beginning of 2017. The success of the EP led to the band signing with Glendale, CA. label Outloud Records – home to Latte+, The Prozacs, Black Russians, and Jagger Holly.

2018 saw the band scaling even higher heights, with their 'Get Fired!' full length earning a place among the year's most essential releases in punk rock. At the time of release, realgonerocks.com called the record “a throwback to when pop punk was great” as well as claiming the Buzzkills were now “ready to mark their place within the pantheon of great pop punk acts.”

2019 saw the Buzzkills release yet another full length, ‘Get Lost!’ on Outloud Records, earning a vinyl release of the album in October of 2019.    Thus began a period of non-stop touring for the band, gaining The Radio Buzzkills much recognition in the punk rock community and a massive international following, culminating in performances across the globe, including Pouzza Fest 9 in Montreal, Quebec.

2020 saw The Radio Buzzkills hit the road again, touring the United States and Canada.  Between legs of the tour, the band found time to record Mutually Assured Destruction, a seven inch split with The Black Russians and also an EP of covers entitled 'Get Bored'

In 2021 the band signed with ProRawk Records - home of Latte+, The Ramonas, The Sewer Rats, The Atoms, and more - and were subsequently featured on the label's 'On The Rawks' and 'On The Rawks VOL2' compilations alongside some of punk rock's finest bands, including The Queers, Huntingtons, The Jasons, DeeCracks, The Apers and many more. The band will release their third full length album in 2021 entitled, 'Get Even' (ProRawk Records) and continue to hit the road. The Radio Buzzkills are known for their insane and energetic live performances.
